Suggested Use: Take 2 tablets twice daily (2 in the morning, 2 in the evening). For advanced use, take doses every 4-6 hours (as bowel tolerance permits). Or use as directed by your healthcare professional. Can be taken with or without food.

Sustained Release Technology means that the vitamin C slowly releases into your body over a 6 hour period, thus avoiding the common side-effects of diarrhea and upset stomach caused by most high-dose vitamin C supplement products – effectively acting as a buffering agent.
This slow release is especially important because vitamin C has a very short half-life (about 30 minutes), meaning it leaves the body very quickly and therefore needs to be delivered in a constant stream to maintain levels that promote optimal health.

This is hands down the best Vitamin C supplement I've ever taken. I bought this as soon as it came out a couple weeks ago. I was VERY excited about it being sustained-release because I've always had digestive problems when I've taken high amounts of vitamin C. There's a ton of research supporting the benefits of higher doses, but I could never follow it because taking that high of a dose (even just 1 or 2 grams a day) always gave me diarrhea. Super frustrating! But so far with this vitamin C, I have not had a single emergency bathroom stop! I took 2 tablets - which is 2 grams! - right when I received it, and I had absolutely NO hint at all of stomach issues! Took another 2 at night like the suggested use says to do, and still great. After a couple days, I increased to taking 4 pills at a time to test that dose out, and still no problems at all! I'm so thankful for this product and SO excited that I finally found a vitamin C I can take a lot of!! Can already tell a boost in immunity while everyone around me is getting sick. And I'm also seeing an improvement in my skin healing quicker too, which is a bonus. Feel more energized and like I've been bouncing back better from stressful stuff in life. Love that. Jigsaw's C w/srt has been a boon to my family's health. We've been taking it regularly without any tummy upset (1000 mg for the kids and 2000 mg for the adults). When any of us has experienced a hint of something coming on - a scratchy throat or extra phlegmy-ness - we've added on regular dosing throughout the day.
