Pros: Like better than regular forms for improving sleep. Cons: none "Seems to be better than normal release form. Better, longer sleep time. Vivid dreams (nightmares) which occur when first taking normal melatonin seem to be less disruptive in the timed release form. My experience was that nightmares subsided to pleasant, restful dreams after one or two days with any form of melatonin. Dreams are thought to be important to health and seem to be non-existent when taking sleeping pills such as Ambien."

Pros: It works, timed release "I bought these for my mom. She is very sensitive to meds and Tylenol makes her ill. She first tried a sleeping pill prescription from her dr which (duh!) left her feeling groggy in the morning. Finally I got her to try these. I think she only took one-half pill. But they work for her. She loves them. She even asked for another bottle! She says she used them for a few months then was able to stop for a while. But wants them around just in case. This is a great review from her! Thank you Jigsaw! I knew I could count on you."

Pros: Fewer inert ingredients; highest efficacy for SRT I've ever found. Cons: "Use of this product could cause hypothermia." "I've been using your 'Melatonin w/SRT' now for approximately 2.5 months. I've found it to be highly effective when needed for occasional insomnia. I used to take Rx meds for the same reason and I've found that I really prefer your product over the Rx meds' choice due to the lack of 'hangover effects' the following morning. I wake up feeling more rested and refreshed whenever I choose your product, instead of using the Rx meds. I would highly recommend the 'Melatonin w/SRT' for anyone who suffers from occasional insomnia."
