Quatrefolic® (5-MTHF, or folate) is an active form of Vitamin B-9, folic acid. For many people, it is difficult to convert folic acid into folate.

P5P (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate), the active form of Vitamin B6, performs over 30 critical enzymatic reactions in the body, including the manufacture of serotonin and dopamine in the brain. The inactive forms of B6 (pyridoxine hydro-chloride, pyridoxal, or pyridoxamine) have to be converted by the liver to the active form (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate or P5P) the body needs. I have taken Jigsaw Health product "Magnesium w/SRT" for several years. It helps with cramping in the muscles of my legs My daughter also takes it. For several months my husband has been having problems with cramping since his back surgery. Finally, it dawned on me to have him start taking the magnesium, two in the morning and two at night. I searched for a long time for a powerful magnesium supplement that would be easily absorbed, effective, and kind to my stomach. At the recommendation of a friend, I tried Jigsaw Magnesium w/SRT, and I am truly pleased with the results. NO leg or foot cramps during the night like I used to suffer from . . . and that's only the obvious effect. When I first heard of this product, I was concerned because I've been told that the only good way to make supplements is in capsule or gel form, but I am not aware of any drawbacks from this formula being in pill form. I believe this particular kind of magnesium is being utilized better than the previous kind I was using (oxide). I feel better overall. No "side" effects such as stomachache or bowel problems. I am still reading the book "The Magnesium Miracle" where they suggested using the Jigsaw Magnesium.
