Active Ingredients: Magnesium (as dimagnesium malate), Vitamin C (as ascorbyl palmitate), Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxal-5-phosphate), Folate (as Quatrefolic® 5MTHF), Vitamin B12 (as Methylcobalamin), Malic Acid (as dimagnesium malate).
The malate form of magnesium is 85% absorbable.
Suggested Use: Take 2 tablets twice daily (2 in the morning, 2 in the evening). For advanced use take 4 tablets twice daily (4 in the morning, 4 in the evening - may split into smaller doses as needed). Or use as directed by your healthcare professional. Take with food.
Please Note: If you are currently being treated for kidney disease, please consult your healthcare professional before taking any magnesium supplement as magnesium toxicity can occur in those with kidney disease.
"I experienced immediate results. Within the first couple of days I noticed decrease muscle tension, more energy, and a decrease in anxious feelings."
The "SRT" in Jigsaw Magnesium w/SRT® stands for Sustained Release Technology, and it's the major difference that gives this product its superior effectiveness.
Instead of the magnesium being dumped into your system all at once, SRT slows down the release of magnesium so it's spread out over 8 hours, which allows your body to absorb the maximum it needs to start feeling your best... avoiding the dreaded digestive discomfort that high doses of most magnesium supplements can cause.*
If you want to promote healthy and relaxed muscle tone and function, as well as support joint health, digestive health, healthy sleep cycles, and overall energy, then you must take a high enough dose of magnesium to compensate for the fact that our typical modern daily diet tends to run low on this vital mineral.*
The RDI for magnesium is 400mg per day, so everyone should at least get that much.
Jigsaw Health's recommended dose is a little higher at 500mg a day (or more, as bowel tolerance allows). This is because many people have been running low on magnesium for years and need more than the "minimum" to replenish their magnesium stores.
Some experts in the field — such as Dr. Russell Blaylock — recommend 1000mg a day as the optimal dose to relieve the effects that can be connected to magnesium-deprived diets.*
Although there are thousands of cheaper magnesium supplements available, the simple truth is that you CANNOT replenish your body's magnesium stores with a cheap magnesium supplement.
Why? Because you cannot take high doses of a regular magnesium supplement without it causing a very uncomfortable laxative effect—your body's way of discarding high levels of magnesium that it is unable to absorb all at once. And the low doses you're restricted to simply won't deliver results.
So, yes other magnesium supplements cost less, but that doesn't matter much when the ONLY thing they will deliver — at high enough doses — is an extreme laxative effect.
Our SRT technology successfully addresses this issue by SLOWLY releasing a higher amount of magnesium, pacing it out over 6 to 8 hours—a rate at which your body can properly absorb and utilize the mineral. Your body gets the magnesium it's craving, without any digestive drama.*
Quatrefolic® (5-MTHF, or folate) is an active form of Vitamin B-9, folic acid. For many people, it is difficult to convert folic acid into folate.
Folate is an important co-factor to P5P and beneficial to many bodily functions. Together, these greatly improve Magnesium’s function supporting healthy muscular tone, enhancing overall energy, and promoting stable mood, calmness, and good sleep.
P5P (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate), the active form of Vitamin B6, performs over 30 critical enzymatic reactions in the body, including the manufacture of serotonin and dopamine in the brain. The inactive forms of B6 (pyridoxine hydro-chloride, pyridoxal, or pyridoxamine) have to be converted by the liver to the active form (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate or P5P) the body needs. Individuals with compromised liver function have difficulty making this conversion and consequently may be at risk of a vitamin B6 deficiency.
P5P works synergistically with Magnesium in many kinds of ways, including relaxing muscles and nerves. A deficiency in either causes many issues where the body depends on both Mg and P5P. We put them together because it is not unusual for people with chronic illness to not make P5P effectively. It is critical to get both.
Since Vitamin B6 is already difficult to get and convert into its usable form, we give it to you already in its active P5P form. All the benefits are available immediately after absorption - no trouble converting or waiting.
Methylcobalamin, the active form of Vitamin B12, is included as a supporting B vitamin to contribute to the effectiveness of Magnesium.
Additionally, methylcobalamin is a necessary cofactor for your body's ability to properly methylate. Methylation is a cycle that occurs in your body billions of times every second. It's one of the most important biochemical processes for long-term health and essential for the proper function of almost all of your body's systems.
Using the active form of B12 is particularly important because people with chronic conditions are poor methylators -- making it difficult to convert inactive forms into their useful active form.
Furthermore... Mangesium, B6, B9, and B12 work together to help maintain normal blood levels of the amino acid, homocyteine.
Homocysteine at high concentrations is linked to serious health conditions. Magnesium and these supporting B vitamins work together to maintain normal blood levels for optimal health.
Many of our customers see a difference in the very first week of using Jigsaw Magnesium w/SRT®, because an absorbable, high dose supplement starts to replenish magnesium stores right away.*
While most of our customers report that 500mg a day works wonders for their health goals, many others take 1,000mg a day (as bowel tolerance allows) in order to follow Dr. Blaylock's recommendation, and to gain the maximum number of benefits that magnesium provides when your body has an ample supply.*
When the body's magnesium stores are taxed—a common occurrence considering our magnesium-poor diets—the body provides some clear hints. Body aches, constipation, tension headaches, reduced energy, interrupted sleep, and many other indicators are the body's way of saying it wants more magnesium.* Magnesium is involved in more than 325 enzyme reactions. It's likely there are hundreds more that scientists have yet to discover.
No. The Recommended Dietary Intake (RDI) is the minimum amount required to avoid a deficiency — not necessarily the maximum amount required for optimal health.
Most magnesium supplements cannot meet, let alone exceed, the 400mg RDI for magnesium because they will often produce an unwanted laxative effect (aka - diarrhea) at that level.
Comparatively, four easy-to-swallow tablets of Jigsaw Magnesium w/SRT® delivers 500mg of magnesium each day, exceeding the RDI by 25% to effectively achieve healthy magnesium levels— without uncomfortable digestive issues.*
I started taking this instead of a different form of magnesium and this is much better on my stomach. Unknown on 18th Sep 2015
First time that I use this product and for 4 weeks, I have been able to sleep all night without excruciating pain in my legs, calves, ankles, toes, inner thighs, outer thighs, stomach,no more muscle cramps!!! I am not kidding I am so happy, after so many years God has answered my prayers. Thank you Marlene on 7th Sep 2015
Have been taking mag oxide for years to help treat TMJ disorder. Upon learning the different types of mag & an online recommendation I tried the Jigsaw. Could immediately tell a huge difference in muscle tension. Very pleased with this product. Sheila on 4th Sep 2015
I bought this for my husband who has constipation due to use of opioids for pain and also has nighttime leg cramps. This has helped with both. Not every type of magnesium is well-absorbed and does what it's supposed, to but this form, along with the additional vitamins, does what it's supposed to do! He takes 5 a day, 2 a.m., 1 at noon, and 2 p.m. Cat Lover on 30th Aug 2015
Love this product! Had issues with sleeping, muscle cramps and stress. Since I have been taking the SRT Magnesium, my symptoms have disappeared. I would highly recommend this product! Cathy on 28th Aug 2015
I have tried various Magnesium Supplements including Mag oils. Jigsaw is much better at absorption because I felt the effect within minutes. Also, it has other ingredients to help body & absorption which I liked. SRT makes sure mag is not flushed out of the system immediately. However, if I take 2 tabs in the morning I feel sleepy, so initially I took upto 6 a day to overcome my Mag deficiency, but now I take 2 after dinner & it provides good sleep. I think Mag Malate is the best form for energy support or muscle pain/cramps & this product has helped me to a great extent, but its been only 1 month that I'm using this. I am taking 800mg of elemental magnesium for bipolar. Currently I am taking 4tablets of Jigsaw Magnesium i.e. 2 tablets in the morning and 2 tablets in the afternoon.
I like the tablets as it is easy to take. I will be placing for my next order next month. Kanisan on 23rd Jul 2015
I purchased this product based on a program featuring Dr. Dennis Goodman, who recommended it by name. I also bought a copy of his book he spoke of entitled Magnificent Magnesium which I am still reading. The material is truly informative. It's helping me to understand the importance of magnesium in our daily lives. While I am learning I have been taking the your magnesium and feeling a world better naturally. I feel the slow release of the magnesium enables it to release a steady stream into my system so it remains there over time. I have not had the need to take the recommended daily dosage and take a pill in the and another with my evening meal to make sure its in my system overnight. And speaking of overnight....I sleep more restful and completely through the night feeling completely rested on rising. Unknown on 28th Jun 2015
Zero side effects and easily adjusted Phillip on 21st Jun 2015
After years of taking Citric Mag. which is good but not the best, caused problems if you take too much! But with me I noticed that even after cutting down the amount (which I didn't like doing because then I don't get the full effect), it still caused me not to be able to 'hold' my bowels. So, I read a health magazine and found out that Malate Mag is the best to take. Around the same time I received information about your company and your Mag. product with the time-release addition. Boy, all I can say is that it works for me and I haven't had any side issues with it. It helps me to stay calmer, as well, without the eye twitch when under stress. I won't go back to the 'other' Mag and am very happy that I read that article. The timing was unreal but I know it was God! smile
Thanks for your wonderful product!!!! Sue on 14th Jun 2015
