What is Quatrefolic®?

Quatrefolic® (5-MTHF, or folate) is an active form of Vitamin B-9, folic acid.  For many people, it is difficult to convert folic acid into folate.

Why is Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate) included?

P5P works synergistically with Magnesium in many kinds of ways, including relaxing muscles and nerves.  A deficiency in either causes many issues where the body depends on both Mg and P5P.  We put them together because it is not unusual for people with chronic illness to not make P5P effectively.  It is critical to get both.

Why is Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin) included?

"I have used this product for over three years. It is simply the best magnesium supplement out there. My cardiologist recommended it for use with fish oil to help control palpitations i have had my whole life. I also suffered from migraines and leg cramps. Guess what? After regular use all of those things disappeared by about 90%. After more research (I am in the sciences) I really realized how magnesium deficient so many of us are. When I run out, if i procrastinate more than a week or two the palpitations and muscle issues return. I am very sensitive to it. The form of folic acid in the product is also a plus and is more bioavailable. I recommend this to everyone. PLEASE stop using low quality Magnesium Oxide supplements and BUY THIS."

Why Haven't My Blood Tests Shown That I Need Magnesium?
