Background Information on pH testing:

pH measures acidity or alkalinity on a scale of 1 to 14. The lower the pH, the greater the level of acids found in your body, the higher the pH, the greater the level of alkaline. At 7, you’ve achieved a neutral pH — exactly where you want your body to be!

Your body continually strives to balance its pH by borrowing minerals from vital organs and bones. When the balance is compromised, you may experience health problems. Many healthcare professionals believe that some chronic conditions stem from an “acid alkaline imbalance“ — causing weakened body systems and potentially serious health ailments.

Good health requires your body to have a neutral pH level, and a balanced pH begins with proper diet and nutrition. Avoid foods such as chemical sweeteners, coffee, soft drinks, sugar, and white flour.
