Partner Product - EDTA w/Malic Acid |
|
Please note that EDTA chelates (removes) some essential metals from the body like iron and zinc, so it's important to take a good multi-mineral supplement during therapy with EDTA to avoid developing any deficiencies.
Helps reduce lead, aluminum, and other toxins that can lead to more serious chronic conditions!
EDTA w/Malic Acid may help:*
- Support elimination of toxic metals (lead, aluminum, cadmium, arsenic, etc).
- Reduce fatty plaques and calcium build-up in the arteries.
- Promote cardiovascular health.
- Relieve chronic pain and tenderness.
- Reduce fatigue.
- Improve blood flow and nutrient absorption.
- Destroy free radicals and their damaging effects on cells.
- Increase mental alertness and energy.
NOTE: Researchers disagree about using EDTA chelation—especially intravenous EDTA—for those currently with mercury amalgams (silver dental fillings). Some suggest that EDTA chelation may leach mercury from amalgams and send it back into the body, while others consider EDTA chelation for those with mercury amalgams to be safe. Those with mercury amalgams should consult a healthcare professional prior to use. Background Information: Exposure to heavy metals has risen dramatically over the last 50 years, mostly due to an increased demand for heavy metals in industrial processes and products. Chronic exposure also comes from, but is not limited to:
- Mercury amalgam dental fillings
- Fish and seafood (Check out our minimal-mercury tuna!)
- Paint
- Tap water
- Processed foods
- Personal care products (cosmetics, hair products, mouthwash, toothpaste, soap, etc.)
- Cookware and dinnerware
- Air pollution
- Tobacco smoke
- Pesticides
- Medications
- Fertilizers
- Heavy traffic
- Antiperspirants
And more than 50 professions consistently face hazardous exposure to heavy metals and other toxins in their work each day. These include physicians, pharmaceutical workers, any dental occupations, laboratory workers, hairdressers, painters, printers, welders, metalworkers, cosmetic workers, battery makers, engravers, photographers, visual artists, and potters.
In fact, there’s really no escape from exposure to heavy metals. Even worse, they may be making us sick.
Toxic heavy metals combine with cell-damaging free radicals to tax our immune system, impair enzyme function, accelerate the aging process, reduce cardiovascular function, and lead to overall compromised health.
Heavy metals have been suspected in many chronic conditions including fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, adrenal fatigue, heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and some cancers.
Chelating agents were first used during World War II to reduce the effects of heavy metal toxicity from arsenic gases and radiation. At the same time, EDTA (ethylene-diamine-tetra-acetic acid) was being used to remove calcium deposits from pipes and boilers.
But it was in 1948 that EDTA was first used to treat lead poisoning. Since then, EDTA chelation therapy has become the most successful method for treating lead poisoning—so successful that the FDA approved intravenous EDTA chelation therapy for this purpose.
It was while treating lead-poisoned auto workers that Dr. Norman Clarke noticed that his patients’ cardiovascular health improved dramatically. EDTA seemed to decrease symptoms of atherosclerosis by binding with calcium molecules that had built up in the arteries.
Since then, thousands of board-certified healthcare professionals have successfully used intravenous EDTA chelation therapy to not only treat lead and other heavy metal poisoning, but also mineral build-ups that can result in cardiovascular disease.
EDTA chelation therapy works by chelating or “grabbing” toxic molecules from heavy metals, chemicals, mineral deposits, and fatty plaques and binding with them. These bound molecules are then safely eliminated through the urine or stool.
As a safe and inexpensive alternative to more costly and invasive IV procedures, EDTA helps reduce heavy metal toxicity that can lead to other, more serious chronic conditions. EDTA is absorbed into the gastrointestinal system where it binds with heavy metals and other toxins to safely remove them from the body.
An oral chelator, EDTA allows you to continue receiving the benefits of IV chelation but without the inconvenience and the cost. Gradually removing toxins from your body allows you to regain your health without the side effects of intravenous EDTA “surges” in a very short time period.
We also suggest Essential Blend Multi Mineral to help restore critical trace minerals that are sometimes lost during chelation therapy. In addition, Essential Blend Antioxidant helps destroy free radicals found in cells damaged by cardiovascular and other diseases.
